- Brunswick Nature Park
2601 River Road (NC 133), Winnabow, NC
There are 911 acres of wonderful undeveloped wilderness that provide a dynamic mix of vegetation, wildlife, ecosystems, vistas, wetlands, and waterways. Enjoy a kayak/canoe launch site and a 40 by 40 picnic pavillion perfect for a family gathering, walking trails, biking trails, and horse trails. The park is open from dawn to dusk.
- Brunswick River Walk
580 River Road, Belville, NC 28451
Park amenities include 3 picnic shelters, 2 playgrounds, 1/3 mile walking trail, boardwalk, nature trails, restroom facilities, and a viewing deck overlooking the river.
- Dutchman Creek Park
4750 Fish Factory Rd., Southport, NC 28465
30 acres of partially developed land offering opportunities for fishing, picnicking and a playground. There is a restroom facility at this Park.
- Ferry Landing Park
Shallotte Boulevard and 7th Street, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469
Offers a gazebo, picnic tables, fishing pier, and beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway. The park is on the site of the original ferry crossing to Ocean Isle Beach. The park is open from 6 am – 10 pm.
- Holden Beach Dog Park
146 Scotch Bonnet Drive, Holden Beach, NC 28462
There are two “off leash” fenced in play yards that cater to large and small breeds. Open daily from sunrise to sunset.
- Leland Community Park
1490 Village Rd. NE, Leland, NC 28451
Nearly eight-acres in size, the park includes a playground, gazebo, stage, picnic tables, benches, open green spaces and a 0.6-mile paved multi-use path. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Free wireless internet is available in the park through Leland Connect.
- Lockwood Folly District Park
430 Green Swamp Rd NW, Supply, NC 28462
Amenities include 3 baseball/softball fields. This Park has 1 football field/soccer field, 1 concession stand, 1 office/storage building, playground, basketball court, 2 tennis courts and 3 picnic shelters. This Park has 20 acres.
- Lowe-White Memorial Park
Corner of Leonard Street and Willis Drive Southport, NC 28461
Facilities include a pair of enclosed tennis courts, playground equipment, picnic tables, benches, restrooms, and the enclosed basketball half-court. The park also offers more to be explored within the woods that surround it. An overlook structure provides some peace and quiet, and an intricate network of walking trails create a continuous loop throughout the wooded property.
- Mulberry Park

Provides walking trails, playground, pavilion, community garden and amphitheater.
- Navassa Park

5-acre park includes a baseball/softball field, two playgrounds, tennis courts, a basketball court, a picnic shelter, and a grilling area.
- Northwest District Park

- Ocean Isle Beach Park

Features tennis courts, two playgrounds, a restroom facility, a multipurpose field that will be used for football and soccer and an amphitheater.
- Shallotte District Park (and Dog Park)

Shallotte Park now features a Dog Park that is open to the public and their pets. Park facilities include baseball/softball fields, soccer field, concession stand with restrooms, basketball court, tennis courts, picnic shelters, and playground.
- Smithville District Park

Park containing baseball, soccer, football fields. Has tennis and basketball court. Picnic shelters and playground.
- Town Creek Disctrict Park
6420 Ocean Hwy. East, Winnabow, NC 28479
55 Acre park with many amenities. Baseball and softball fields. Tennis and basketball courts. Two playgrounds and picnic shelters. Also has a 2.5-mile paved walking/running/biking trail with fitness stations.
- Waccamaw Park
5855 Waccamaw School Rd NW, Ash, NC 28420
30 Acres (many undeveloped) containing baseball and football fields. Hasbasketball, tennis and volleyball courts. Picnic shelters and playground.
- William “Bill” Smith Park w/ Salty Dog Park
4410 Fish Factory Road, Oak Island, NC 28465
24-acre park with baseball, softball and football fields. Also has disc golf course, restrooms and picnic shelter. The Slaty Dog Park is roughly 300 by 150 feet, the dog park is divided into two sections, one for dogs 25 pounds and smaller and the other for larger dogs.
- Westgate Nature Park
1260 W Gate Dr, Leland, NC 28451
here is 0.3 miles of 10-foot-wide paved trails as well as a playground and outdoor classroom pavilion. The park has pet waste stations and pet hydrant (in operation during the warmer months). Once all phases are completed, there will be nearly 5 miles of trails and numerous overlooks and outdoor classrooms taking advantage of Leland’s unique coastal wetlands ecosystems.
